The Chamber of Commerce of West Covina has been the leading force of the West Covina business community since 1953. With over 600 members, and five full time staff, the Chamber of Commerce of West Covina is one of the most respected and productive business organizations in the San Gabriel Valley.

The Chamber of Commerce of West Covina is dedicated to fostering economic prosperity of local business. We offer programs and benefits to suit large and small businesses, from the business at home to the largest office complex.

Business Based Emergency Preparedness
This award-winning program enables West Covina businesses to be better prepared to survive and recover from an earthquake. Developed by a cooperative effort between the West Covina Fire Department, the Chamber of Commerce of West Covina, and the Office of Emergency Services, the Business-Based Emergency Preparedness Program was developed to assist local businesses with developing the training and skills to recover following a disaster and get back to business.

Local businesses receive six hours of training which focus on such things as pre-disaster planning, tax and insurance planning, first-aid, firefighting and rescue, as well as what supplies to have for a disaster. One key component of this program is to teach local merchants to assess their own level of damage to allow the Fire Department more time to concentrate on the areas that need their help first.

In the event of a major community disaster, it will require the entire community working together to bring us all through it with minimal losses.
