West Covina Sportsplex Project Update
April 2006
Week of April 24th, 2006

This past week, West Covina Sportsplex site construction work included a focus on grading along the west end of the basin, and blasting rock formations in the proposed Big League Dreams site area. Dry utility and infrastructure improvements were visible form Azusa Avenue as workers supervised the digging of trenches in order to install gas lines.

Week of April 17th, 2006

During the workweek of April 17th, construction at the West Covina Sportsplex site began with blasting at the proposed Big League Dreams site, allowing for the progression of grading. Towards the end of the week, workers excavated along the new entry road in order to install Southern California Edison vaults, while High Light Electric trenched around the old weigh station.


The week began with a production blast that allowed for the cut to progress on the proposed Big League Dreams site.
