I. REQUEST:

Michiko Robinson, West Covina Resident

THAT PARKING ON THE WEST SIDE OF AZUSA AVENUE FROM 1331 SOUTH AZUSA AVENUE TO MICHELLE STREET BE RESTRICTED TO PERMIT ONLY PARKING.

SUMMARY:

The request stems from a problem associated with the small retail center on the west side of Azusa Avenue that has insufficient parking. As a result, patrons and employees of the retail center have been parking on Azusa Avenue north of the center, in front of residential homes making it difficult for the residents to find parking adjacent to their homes.

RECOMMENDATION:

THAT PARKING ON WEST SIDE OF AZUSA AVENUE FROM 1309 TO 1331 SOUTH AZUSA AVENUE BE RESTRICTED TO PERMIT ONLY PARKING.
