CORTEZ PARK MASTER PLAN AMENDMENT NO. 8
CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION
APPLICANT: City of West Covina
LOCATION: Cortez Park
(2441 East Cortez Street)
REQUEST: The City is proposing to adopt an updated master plan for Cortez Park to allow improvements and incorporate the property at 421 S. Citrus Street, formerly a single-family residence, into the park.

- Joint Commission discussion.
- Recommendation.
Community Services Commission Action:

recommend to the City Council (approval/denial) of Cortez Park Master Plan Amendment No. 8.
Planning Department Commission Action:
Motion __________, seconded __________ to adopt findings as recommended by staff.
Motion __________, seconded __________ to waive further reading of the body of the resolution and adopt Resolution No. 05-50, recommending to the City Council (approval/denial) of Cortez Park Master Plan, Amendment No. 8.
Final action will be considered by the City Council at a public hearing tentatively scheduled for June 21, 2005.

CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION
APPLICANT: City of West Covina
LOCATION: Aroma Park
(East Aroma Drive, North of Galster Way)
REQUEST: The City is proposing to adopt a master plan for a new park on Aroma Avenue adjacent to the Pacific Park residential development and Galsterwood Condominiums. The new park is designed as a neighborhood park.
