This is the time when any member of the public may bring a matter to the attention of the Commission that is within the scope of duties assigned to the Commission. The Ralph M. Brown Act limits the Planning Commission and staff's ability to respond to comments on non-agendized matters at the time such comments are made. Thus, your comments may be agendized for a future meeting or referred to staff. The Commission may discuss or ask questions for clarification, if desired, at this time.
By policy of the Commission, Oral Communications at this time on the agenda is limited to a total of 15 minutes.

CORTEZ PARK MASTER PLAN AMENDMENT NO. 9
CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION
APPLICANT: City of West Covina
LOCATION: 2441 East Cortez Street, Cortez Park
REQUEST: To consider extending the evening use of the sports field and sports field lighting at Cortez Park from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
- Open public hearing.
- Staff Report.
- Public Testimony.
- Close public testimony.
- Joint Commission discussion.
- Recommendation.
Community Services Commission Action:
Motion by ________, seconded by ________ to recommend to the City Council (approval/denial) of Cortez Park Master Plan Amendment No. 9.
Planning Commission Action:
Motion by ________, seconded by ________ to adopt findings as recommended by staff.
Motion by ________, seconded by ________ to waive further reading of the body of the resolution and adopt Resolution No. 06-5133____, recommending to the City Council (approval/denial) of Cortez Park Master Plan Amendment No. 9.
Final action will be considered by the City Council at a public hearing tentatively scheduled for June 6, 2006.
