-Police Department-
Over the past six years, the West Covina Police Department took the lead of the private sector in flattening its management structure, allowing the Police Department to place six additional officers on the street to answer routine calls for service, assign one additional officer in the Detective Bureau, and create a six officer crime impact team.

In addition, the WCPD has created the highly successful Computer Enterprise Program along with the Safe Streets Program, which provides citizens with trained Officers and City personnel who help form a team to recognize possible problems before they happen.
