CRAZY HORSE RESTAURANT NOW OPEN!
WEST COVINA, CA - The City of West Covina, the West Covina Community Development Commission (CDC), and Crazy Horse are pleased to announce that the Crazy Horse Restaurant is now open.

Residents and patrons from afar can now enjoy the legendary Crazy Horse once more, relocating from its former locations in Orange County to its new location in West Covina at 1360 W. Garvey Avenue South.

The Crazy Horse made its reputation as the major "Country" entertainment venue in the nation. Almost every major Country artist including Willie Nelson, Faith Hill and Tobey Keith has played at the Crazy Horse. To attract a wider audience Crazy Horse has also been known to feature bands from Big Bad Voodoo Daddy to Ray Charles. Although a country themed establishment, the Crazy Horse also provides patrons a sophisticated and fun entertainment venue- featuring Disco, 80's, 80's, R & B, Jazz and top 40's music, attracting a diverse crowd.

The restaurant component features classic American dishes featuring steaks, fresh fish, pasta dishes, burgers, and more. In addition to the restaurant, Crazy Horse provides West Covina with a state of the art banquet facility for sales meetings, corporate parties, private functions, and charity/club events.

"Crazy Horse not only provides a quality dining experience but gives West Covina national recognition as a first class entertainment and concert venue. The City is excited that Crazy Horse has opened and hopes that residents will take advantage of the legendary entertainment and concert venue in their own backyard." Mayor Touhey.

Crazy Horse's owner John Nuccio stated, "We are very excited to be in West Covina and have had a successful soft opening last Wednesday, August 15, 2007. I appreciate the City Council, the Planning Commission, CDC and City staff for their assistance in getting us opened. We look forward to operating our business in West Covina."

Crazy Horse has now opened their bar and serving a limited menu. Crazy Horse is anticipated to open the restaurant in September of 2007. An official grand opening event will be scheduled within the next 45-days upon the restaurant opening.

According to the owner, Crazy Horse is anticipated to generate $60,000 in annual sales tax, and $44,000 in property tax, in addition will generate approximately 110 new jobs.
