The City of West Covina is Now
Accepting CDBG Proposals
WEST COVINA, CA - The City of West Covina receives an annual grant of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. These funds have been used to fund a variety of programs and projects that benefit lower income persons, senior citizens, persons with disabilities, persons who are homeless or in danger of being homeless, and other special population groups in West Covina.

The City of West Covina is currently soliciting public service proposals for the FY 2008-2009 CDBG Program. Service providers wishing to submit proposals may pick up an application packet beginning January 22, 2008 at West Covina City Hall, Community Services Department, Room 205, 1444 West Garvey Avenue, West Covina.

The proposals should be for projects with the purpose of providing services that benefit lower income persons, elderly and persons with disabilities living in West Covina for fiscal year 2008-2009.
