CITY OF WEST COVINA ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR HUMAN RESOURCES COMMISSION
WEST COVINA, CA - The City of West Covina is now accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the City of West Covina Human Resources Commission.

The Human Resources Commission acts in an advisory capacity to both the City Council and the Personnel Officer (City Manager) in matters relating to personnel. Commissioners are appointed by individual City Council Members and serve at the pleasure of their appointing Councilmember. This vacancy will be filled and appointed by Councilmember Touhey.

The Human Resources Commission meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm. Commissioners receive a $100.00 stipend.

Applications are available form the City Clerk's Office at West Covina City Hall, 1444 West Garvey Avenue, Room 317, or by calling 626-939-8433. Any interested resident of West Covina, who is 18 years or older, may apply.

Applications must be returned by March 6, 2008 by 5:00pm.
